La gamme Nez Noir
Inspirée par la nature et le terroir
Le nom Nez Noir tire son origine de notre troupeau de moutons du même nom, reflet de notre engagement pour une viticulture durable.
Chaque printemps, nos moutons Nez Noir paissent paisiblement dans nos vignes, permettant un entretien naturel du sol, favorisant la biodiversité et limitant l’usage de machines et d’intrants chimiques. Lorsque la vigne commence à pousser, nos moutons sont déplacés vers notre prairie extensive de Crêtillon, dans la région sierroise, avant de migrer vers les hauteurs alpines.
En été, ils montent jusqu’à 2700 mètres, face au Cervin, où ils sont tondus deux fois. Leur laine de grande qualité symbolise notre philosophie : une production locale et respectueuse de la nature.
L’histoire de la gamme
Committed to organic viticulture, we launched Nez Noir in 2019, with a first red blend from the Crêta Plan and Clos St. Marcel terroirs. This powerful and balanced wine enhances Merlot, Gamaret and Syrah thanks to natural vinification.
In 2019, a saignée gave birth to Nez Noir Rosé, a fresh and fruity wine with aromas of wild berries and exotic notes. In 2020, the range was expanded with Nez Noir Blanc, which combines Petite Arvine, Heida and Johannisberg.
In 2022, in response to an exceptional harvest, we created an exceptional barrel-aged cuvée: Nez Noir Réserve.
Finally, in 2025, Nez Noir Blanc became a pure Petite Arvine, a tribute to the Valais terroir… and the range took a new step forward with the launch of the first Nez Noir beer, a Premium Organic Lager, brewed in Switzerland with Valais hops and pure water from the Trient glacier.
Such a cute sheep
Like the iconic grape varieties Arvine and Cornalin, the Black Nose sheep of Upper Valais is a ‘native’ breed and 100% Valaisan. Thanks to their robustness and thick wool, they are particularly well adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of the region.
Long threatened with extinction, it has enjoyed a resurgence of interest since the British crowned it ‘The Cutest Sheep in the World’. Today, it is exported to Great Britain, New Zealand and the United States. And, of course, to the vineyards of Clos St Marcel and Crêta Plan!
A lightweight bottle
For our Nez Noir wines, we have opted for a lighter Burgundy bottle, requiring less glass and therefore fewer resources and less energy to produce.
Fabriquée à St-Prex par notre partenaire Vetropack, elle réduit l’empreinte carbone liée au transport. Son poids optimisé diminue aussi la consommation de carburant lors des livraisons.
Résultat : Nez Noir fait partie des vins les plus éco-responsables de Suisse – un choix durable, sans compromis sur la qualité !
Nez Noir Rouge
Nez Noir Rouge is an organic blend of Merlot, Gamaret and Syrah. Complex and structured, it is characterised by beautiful aromatic intensity. It combines aromas of black fruits, such as cherry and blackberry, with spicy and woody nuances.
Vinification: in vats on fine lees.
Ageing potential: 3 to 6 years.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Nez Noir Rosé
Nez Noir Rosé is an organic blend of Merlot, Gamaret and Syrah. It is made from a saignée of the must used for its red counterpart. Fresh and light, it delivers aromas of wild berries accompanied by exotic notes.
Vinification: in vats on fine lees.
Ageing potential: 2 to 3 years.
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
Nez Noir Petite Arvine
Petite Arvine Nez Noir stands out for its freshness and elegance, offering complex aromas of citrus, peach and apricot on the nose, enhanced by a subtle hint of acacia honey. Fresh, balanced and lively, with a slight salty touch on the finish.
Vinification: in vats on fine lees
Ageing potential: 2 to 3 years
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Nez Noir Réserve
Made from the same must as the red Nez Noir, this wine is aged for 12 months in barrels, giving it greater complexity and increased ageing potential. A lively, spirited wine.

Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
