- Carefully positioning its wines on the market in a sustainable manner, over the years the Rouvinez family has developed some brands that today have become essential to the Swiss wine producing sector. With the launch of the Tourmentin in 1983 as one of the first Valais wines aged in traditional oak barrels, an important turning point regarding quality was achieved. The launch of the Château Lichten wines in 1993 marked a further step the company’s policy of producing wines from single domains. More recently, the wines of the “Nez Noir” product range perfectly reflect the change of strategy taken by Domaines Rouvinez towards organic wine production. And finally, the L’Échappée beer, brewed in our cave’s location and developed in collaboration with friends from Liège, emphasises the constant strive for innovation that motivates the Rouvinez family.
