A family united by rail and Tourmentin
The Grob family’s passion for Tourmentin goes back several decades. In this Thurgau family, whose mother Maryse is originally from the canton of Neuchâtel, all three generations enjoy this wine, which they discovered during a visit to the Olma agricultural fair in St. Gallen. As the children, Pascal and Bettina, were still too young, they first introduced it to their parents and parents-in-law, who quickly became fans.
When they reached wine-drinking age, Pascal and Bettina, who had been looking forward to it so much, were finally able to taste this very special vintage that was often talked about. They joined their parents and grandparents in this family craze. It has to be said that for the Grobs, family unity is sacred. The whole family works for SBB.
